TOMAH - Lori A. Sanwald, 57, of Tomah died Monday, October 4, 2021, at Tomah Health, surrounded by her family. She was born April 11, 1964, to Donald and Ella Mae (Pasch) Granger in Hillsboro.
She was united in marriage to Fred Sanwald Sr. on September 24, 1983. Lori’s life was taking care of her boys and later her grandchildren and extended family. She was an excellent baker and was known for making delicious: Chocolate Chip Cookies, No Bake Cookies and her Santa Claus Cake. She enjoyed taking family camping trips. Her Favorite Spots were the Monastery, and at McMullan Park. She also enjoyed to fish. She will always be remembered for her feisty and firm personality. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.
She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Fred Sanwald Sr., 4 sons, Freddie Jr (Brittany), Joey (Taylar), Steven (Melissa) Danny (Stephanie) all of Tomah, 9 grandchildren, Alexis, Cara, Fredrick, Madison, Loreai, Lucas, Alexis, Wyatt, Sydney, her mother Ella Mae of Reedsburg, special friends who were like family, Angela Budrecki of Tomah, Randi (Cody) Taylor of Tomah, Taylor (Amanda) Welnetz of Kiel, 3 brothers Donald (Sarah) Granger of New Lisbon, David Granger of Reedsburg, Rick Granger of Shioctor, 4 sisters, Judith Clark of Reedsburg, Nancy (Robert) Friedl of Necedah, Patsy (Jim) Ziegler of Merrimac, Dawn (Dennis) Behn of Reedsburg,
She was preceded in death by her father, Donald, 2 infant sons Joshua and Keith, 2 infant grandchildren, Violet and Olivia, a brother Mike Granger.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday October 8, 2021, 10 :00 A.M. at the Sonnenburg Family Funeral Home, 801 E. Monowau St. Tomah. Pastor Ronald Tobin will officiate. Burial will be in the Farmington Cemetery, On County Highway D in Mindoro.
