She was a devoted member of the Catholic Church, and her faith was a guiding light throughout her life. She was known for her role as a mother, the best friend and Mimi to her grandchildren, a partner, a friend, a crafter, a supporter of the ones she loved, and a captivating rockstar who will be shaking her eternal tambourine.

She is further survived by many nieces, other relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Wilna “Free Willy”, her brothers, Dennis and Steven Welch and brother-in-law, Rodney Sheldon.

A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, October 18, 2024, 11:00 AM at the Queen of The Apostles Parish, 315 W. Monroe St., Tomah. Father Ethan Hokamp will officiate. Burial will be at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.  Relatives and friends are invited for a time of visitation on Thursday, October 17, 2024, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Sonnenburg Family Funeral Home, 801 E.
