Tickets on sale for Tomah-Warrens Sports Alliance fisheree

Leading up to Christmas, many folks are thinking what they may find under the tree in a week.

Some may be hoping for ice fishing equipment. Some are obviously hoping for more ice so they can get into some serious ice fishing into 2022.

What better way to tap into both than the announcement of raffle ticket sales for the Tomah-Warrens Sports Alliance Ice Fisheree. The fisheree is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 12, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Lake Tomah. As in past years, Lake Tomah will become its own interim suburb of the community with countless ice shanties and its own transportation network of trucks and utility vehicles.

Raffle tickets are $5 each or three for $10. Drawings will be held following the fisheree. What are the prizes, you ask?

First is a Smith & Wesson AR 15 223 caliber rifle. Second prize, a Delton AR 15 223 caliber rifle. Third is a Browning AB3 30-06, fourth is a WinchesterXPR 350 LGND, fifth is a Strikemaster LFVL-8 40 vault auger, sixth place is a Ruger EC9S 9MM pistol, seventh place a Taurus G2C MM pistol, eighth place a Frabill model HQ300 six-man ice shanty and ninth place prize is a Mister Heater Hunting Buddy.
