KERNERSVILLE - Lucille Rose Gerbitz Trapp, 90, of Kernersville, NC passed away Monday, September 4, 2023. Lucille was born December 4, 1932 to Edward and Emma Gerbitz in Endeavor, WI. On January 12, 1957, Lucille married Darrell Spencer Trapp in Oxford, WI. Lucille worked at The Abbey as Resort as a bookkeeper in the accounting department for over 30 years. After retirement, she enjoyed gardening her flowers, bird watching, sewing and needlepoint. She also enjoyed putting together jigsaw puzzles and word search puzzles.
Lucille is survived by her children: Terry (Gloria) Trapp of Elcho, WI; Vickie (Mitch) Mally of Fond du Lac, WI; Juanita (Eric) Carlson of Williams Bay, WI; and Connie (John) Tolppi of Kernersville, NC; five grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren;, along with other relatives and friends.
Lucille was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and 7 siblings.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, September 30, 2023,11:00 am at the Torkelson Funeral Home in Tomah, WI. Burial will follow in the LaGrange Cemetery, rural Tomah.
