Alyce L. Betcher, 96 died on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, at the Tomah Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on May 17, 1928, to George and Lillian (Churchill) Noyes in Babcock, Wisconsin. She was a member of the Tomah High School Graduating Class of 1946.

Alyce enjoyed collecting antique glass and going to auctions. She worked various jobs throughout the years, most recent was in the dining hall at Volk Field. She had a passion for cooking and baking. She was very independent, living on her own until February when she moved to the Tomah Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Alyce’s faith was strong but especially so in her last six months of life. She loved angels, and now she is ours. She will be deeply missed by all that knew and loved her.

She is survived by her children Ron (Nani) Betcher of Tomah, Allan (Susan) Betcher of Virginia, and Mary (Don) Bergum, brother Junior (Evelyn) Noyes both of Tomah, 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, children Dennis Erickson, Judy Erickson and Debbie Smith and brother Samuel J. Noyes.

A Celebration of Life will be held on August 23, 2024, 12:00 Noon at Mary’s house. Burial will be at Oak Grove Cemetery. The Sonnenburg Family Funeral Home is assisting the family. Online condolences may be offered by visiting www.sonnenburgfamilyfh.com
