FRIENDSHIP - Terry Joe Turnmire, age 56 of Friendship, WI, and formerly of Tomah, WI, passed away on Thursday, January 18th, 2024 at home surrounded by family. Terry was born to William and Lucretia (Babcock) Turnmire on July 31, 1967 in Tomah, Wisconsin.
He married Lisa Marie (Teebo) Turnmire in Tomah in 1994. They were married for 29 years and raised 4 children together. Terry decided on a career path of driving long haul to provide for his family. He loved this job, being able to earn money and see the world with his carefree lifestyle. Terry enjoyed spending his free time with his grandchildren, going on vacation with his wife, and working on his 1989 Dodge pick-up truck that was his pride and joy. Terry was always there to lend a helping hand, and loved working with his hands making something new out of something old.
Terry is survived by his wife Lisa, his children Christopher Mosley, Kayla (Tony) DeVito, Mariah (Kyle) Faulkner, Brandi (Tiffany) McNulty. Grandchildren Damien, Keegan, Bryce, Jocelyn, Shawn, Ethan, Ariya, Elijah, and Kinsley and other amazing people that have been taken into the family…
Terry was preceded in death by Lucretia and William Turnmire, his brother Billy, and his grandson Marshall.
We would like to thank the staff of St. Croix Hospice for their kindness that was shown to Terry the last part of his life. We will always remember the kind heart of Felicia, Jessica, Carrie, Chaplain Dave, and the musician Nick.
Funeral Services for Terry will be held on Thursday, January 25, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at the Torkelson Funeral Home in Tomah. Burial will follow in the Pine Grove Cemetery in Mather. Family and friends are invited for visitation on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
