Stanley Martin Schleusener received his crown of glory in heaven on July 27, 2026.
He was born on September 19, 1942, in Bancroft, Nebraska to Martin and Leona (Dietrich) Schleusener.
Stan was baptized on October 25, 1942, and confirmed on March 25, 1956, at Zion Lutheran Church in Bancroft, Nebraska. He attended Zion Lutheran School and Bancroft High School. During his senior year the family moved to Tomah, Wisconsin, where he graduated from Tomah High School in 1960. After school he served in the Army.
He met his first wife, Louise, in the church choir. They married on October 3, 1964, and were married 46 years before she entered heaven. On August 9, 2014, he married Marilyn Kirkpatrick.
Stan worked very hard throughout his life as a farmer, truck driver for Band Box and he enjoyed beekeeping.
Stan is survived by children; Lynelle (Mike), Allen (Chanda), Jean, David (Beth), and Bill (Kelly); stepson, Andrew (Heather); grandchildren, Linka (Dylan), Liesl, Kyla, Malia, Josiah, Selah, Micah, Noah, Matthew, Luke; step grandchild, Delilah; great grandchild, Maija; siblings, Leon (Lydia), Kathleen (John), Marcia (Fred), Janice (Mark); brothers-in-law, Jon, Ed and Christopher.
He was preceded in death by son, Dale; parents; father and mother-in-law; sisters-in-law, Janice and Juliann; brother-in-law, Richard; nephew, Randall and many other family members.
Stan’s family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at the Tomah VA Hospice unit for the wonderful care they provided.
A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, August 10, 2026, 11 AM, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 1221 Lagrange Ave. Tomah. Pastor Noah Rogness will officiate. Relatives and friends are invited for at time of visitation, 9 AM until the time of service on Monday at the church.
