Sparta’s Justin Trails Resort hosting Evergreen Glitterfest Holiday Market Nov. 29

The Evergreen Glitterfest Holiday Market will be held Saturday, Nov. 29 from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Justin Trails Resort, eight miles south of Sparta. Breakfast and coffee will be available in The Lodge at Justin Trails Resort before shopping.

The market will be inside the easily accessible century-old Elegant Barn on the first floor called The Studio. This is a heated space with wood-wrapped walls, a fireplace, two bathrooms and can be rented for parties, events, meetings and retreats.

The business will collect food for the Sparta Bread Basket Ecumenical Food Bank. Suggested donations include pancake mix, spaghetti sauce, kidney/chili beans, macaroni and cheese, pasta, canned fruit, peanut butter, jelly/jam, cereal, white rice and instant mashed potatoes.

The Evergreen Glitterfest Holiday Market offers a great selection of locally made items that embrace the bounty of the Driftless Region. The markets is free of charge and open to the public.

The market will feature a variety of vendors selling hand/homemade goods including consumables and indoor/outdoor decor. Homemade foods include cookies, fresh baked sourdough bread, freeze-dried candies, vegetables and fruits. Wearable items for sale include llama and alpaca wool socks, mittens, hats, scarves, ear warmers, flannel shirts and handmade jewelry. Handmade home creations include llama and alpaca wool rugs, crocheted animals, hand embroidered kitchen towels, hand painted pots with plants and candles.

Justin Trails Resort is always looking for talented local artisans and makers. In addition to the Evergreen Glitterfest Makers Market, the business will also host a Winter Makers Market in 2026 on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Jan. 10, Feb. 14, and March 14.
