Posted

The Kiwanis Club of Sparta and Sparta High Key Club joined forces on Sunday, June 14 during the Butterfest Parade to collect non-perishable food items and cash donations from parade goers. The Kiwanis Club and Key Club members collected $1700 from those watching the parade.  Representatives from

Kiwanis and Key Clubs presented checks of $850 to each food pantry

The clubs would like to thank all those who donated food or cash donations during the parade. This was one of the largest amounts of cash donations in the many years that the Kiwanis Club has been involved in collecting donations during the Butterfest parade.
