Seven of the 44 volunteer participants that constructed the new Sparta Chamber Concessions Facility stood behind and cut the ribbon, on Wednesday, August 28th, in the evening, marking the dedication of the structure for use of the citizens of Sparta. The project marked a transition from The Shovelmen being primary constructors of a project, to their vision of encouraging others to engage in their community through public works improvements. These gentlemen joined 37 other volunteers that participated in the construction that had commenced on March 30th, 2024 and was dedicated during the last concert of the 2024 season.
