It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Roy Kvistad Jr. on February 6, 2026, at the age of 59. Roy was born December 17, 1966, to Roy and Roberta (Leisgang) Kvistad in Sparta, WI.
Roy attended Blair High School and graduated in 1986. After graduation he enlisted in the National Guard and Reserves until he discharged in 1994. While he was in the service he was a light duty mechanic. He had a passion for repairing and rebuilding vehicles.
Roy is survived by his wife, Patty, his son, Dakota, daughter, Cheyenne (fiance’, Alex DeWall), grandson, Arlo - he was the light of Roy’s life, his mother, Roberta, siblings, Mary (Wayne) Comero, Kris (Steve) Seidel and Bob (Jenny) Kvistad, along with many cousins, nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Roy is preceded in death by his father, Roy, his grandparents, Bob and Pearl Leisgang, Orville and Pearl Leisgang, aunts and uncles.
Before Roy was diagnosed with cancer, he was building a vehicle. He and his cousin Al would be in the garage for hours working on it.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 14, 2026, 11:00 a.m. at the Torkelson Funeral Home in Tomah.
