Robert L. Gibson, age 75, of Bangor, WI, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 3, 2026, at the RBI Caring Hearts in Bangor.
Robert was born on June 10, 1951, at Fort Belvoir, Viriginia. Robert devoted himself to serving our country, proudly serving during both the Vietnam War and Gulf War. Throughout his military career, he earned several honorable medals for his service and dedication.
A visitation for Robert will be held on Monday, September 14, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Torkelson Funeral in Sparta. Burial with full military honors will take place at the Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Spooner on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. The Torkelson Funeral Home of Sparta is assisting the family with arrangements.
