Marlene Joyce Erickson Forschler, 87, passed peacefully on January 7, 2025, in her home in Glendale, Arizona surrounded by family. A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother will always be remembered for her dedication to caring for her family. Born on January 1, 1938, in Sparta, Wisconsin, she grew up the daughter of Christ and Christine Erickson. In high school she met the love of her life, Dean Forschler, and were married in 1955. The two have been together for over 70 years and have traveled the world. She has three children, eight grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren. Marlene is survived by her husband Dean Forschler of Glendale, Arizona, son Robert (Melissa) Forschler of Daytona Beach Florida, daughter Cindy (Rob) Robinson of Crystal Lake Illinois, and daughter Joan (John) Rueff of Crystal Lake Illinois as well as Grandchildren Christy, Nick, Jennifer, Tiffany, Stephanie, Ronny, Tracey, Eric, and her 12 great grandchildren. A private memorial will be in Glendale Arizona with final internment in her hometown of Sparta, Wisconsin.
