Marjorie Flora (Dentice) Middleman, 98, formerly of Sparta, WI, passed away Sunday, January 12, 2025, at her son’s home in Milwaukee, WI. She was born in B Kingston, Surrey England, on May 20, 1926, to Andrew and Flora Dentice.
Marjorie met and fell in love with an American Soldier during WWII while he was stationed in England. Harold E. Middleman and Marjorie were married shortly after the war ended. On August 31, 1945, they were united in marriage at the Westminster Cathedral in London, England. “Never looked back and never stopped loving” is engraved on the back of their headstone in Woodlawn Cemetery, Sparta, WI.
Marjorie is survived by her children, Beverly Hewett, Alan Middleman, Robert Middleman, Gerald Middleman, Carol Bradley, and Larry Middleman; grandchildren and great grandchildren; along with many nieces, and nephews.
Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband Harold in 2000; son Kenneth in 2023; and son-in-law, Mark Bradley.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, February 1, 2025, 11:00 a.m. at the Torkelson Funeral Home, 1132 Angelo Rd., Sparta, WI. Family and friends are invited for visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
