Lavonne (Bonnie) Cohoon age 77 went home to the Lord peacefully on June 26, 2025 at the Serenity House in Tomah, WI
Bonnie was born in Chippewa Falls, WI on October 25, 1947 to Raymond & Catherine (Pregent) Cohoon. Bonnie graduates from Chippewa Falls High in 1965.
Bonnie married Ronald J. McDonald on March 4, 1967 in Racine, WI. They made their home in Chippewa Falls, WI and then the Orlando, FL area, where their daughter Lisa Catherine was born in 1979. They later divorced but reconnected for 8 years before Ron’s passing in 2006.
Bonnie is survived by her daughter Lisa Munson of Sparta, WI. Sisters Nancy (Otto Hilp) Richardson of Eau Claire, WI and Marian (James) Tremblay of Sparta, WI, sisters-in-law Lorie Cohoon of Exeland, WI and Genevieve Cohoon of New Richmond, WI. Bonnie is further survived by many nieces, nephews & cousins.
Bonnie is preceded in death by her parents, the Love of her Life Ronald J McDonald. Brothers Jerome & Raymond Cohoon. Sisters Jannette (Ray) Peterson, Katherine ‘Kitty’ (Richard) Vance. Sister-in-law Judy Cohoon.
Per Bonnie’s request there will be no service. A Celebration of Life will happen at a later date.
