LaMont P. Prell, age 79, of Tomah, Wisconsin, passed away Saturday, October 18, 2025. He was born March 15, 1946, to Lawrence and Georgia (Schoot) Prell.
LaMont was a 1964 graduate of Tomah High School where he played football and baseball. He was a graduate of the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point in 1968.
LaMont is survived by his children, Rebecca Hopkins, Bradley and Matthew Prell, grandchildren, Francesca Hopkins and Macrae Hopkins, his siblings, Ellis (Vicki) Prell, George Prell and Jan Heins, a brother-in-law, Robert Tucker, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Georgia, a sister, Marilyn Tucker, a sister-in-law, Carol Prell and a brother-in-law, William Heins.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 4, 2025, 11:00 a.m. at the Torkelson Funeral Home in Tomah. Burial will follow in the Oakdale Cemetery, Oakdale, Wisconsin. Family and friends are invited for visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at the funeral home.
