Kids From Wisconsin, a nonprofit performing arts organization, bring its 2026 production, “America’s Soundtrack: The Pulse of a Nation,” to Tomah High School in Tomah, WI on Tuesday, July 28.

Celebrating its 58th season, Kids From Wisconsin’s newest production honors the 250th anniversary of the United States through a high-energy musical journey featuring the sounds that have shaped generations of Americans. From rhythm and blues and jazz to rock and roll, soul, pop, folk, country, and Broadway classics, the live performance showcases the creativity and influence of America’s most iconic composers, songwriters, musicians, and performers, including Gordon Goodwin, Irving Berlin, Elvis Presley, Billy Joel and Toto.

Performed by Wisconsin’s most talented young artists, the two-hour production includes a 14-piece band and live vocals with original choreography. The show is designed for audiences of all ages.

Local performers appearing in this year’s troupe include Patrick Larson and Roman Olbert of Sparta, WI, currently students at Sparta High School.

“At Kids From Wisconsin, we believe the arts have the power to shape lives, strengthen communities, and inspire future leaders. America’s Soundtrack highlights not only the incredible legacy of American music, but also the remarkable young people carrying that legacy forward,” said Vicki McCarthy, Executive Director.
