Judith D. (Williams) Schreier, 83, of St. Mary’s Ridge, WI, passed away Friday, March 27, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was born June 1, 1942, to Daniel and Marie (Kroll) Williams in Hillsboro, WI.

Judy grew up in the Oil City area, where she developed a strong work ethic and deep-rooted faith that would guide her throughout her life. She graduated from Ontario High School and went on to further her education at Western Wisconsin Technical College in La Crosse.

Judy met Donald Schreier at a local dance, beginning a love story, which included companionship, faith, and shared purpose. On October 3, 1962, she was united in holy matrimony to her best friend, Donald J. Schreier, at the Nativity of Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, on St, Mary’s Ridge. Together, they built a life centered around family, faith, and farming.

Judy and Don bought his uncle’s farm on St. Mary’s Ridge. They took pride in it being a century farm and had many milk awards over the years. In addition to helping Don, on their farm, Judy held various jobs over the years. She worked as a key punch operator for Tri-State Breeders in Westby. She also was an Amway Distributor for many years. She balanced these responsibilities with grace, always putting her family first.

Judy had a great love for baking, cooking, and canning. She was happiest when family and friends were gathered around the table to share a meal. Her kitchen was the heart of the home, where she lovingly prepared countless meals for her family and shared many recipes.

A devoted Catholic, Judy was an active member of her church community at the St. Mary’s Ridge Catholic Church. Her faith was central to her life, and she expressed it through quiet acts of service, including helping clean the church, supporting parish activities, and serving on the Altar Society board. She instilled in her children and grandchildren, the importance of love, prayer and just being a good person.

Judy is survived by her six children: Christine Ritter, her children, Thomas (Brianna) and Rebecca; Edward Schreier; David (Jeannette) Schreier, their daughters, Taylor (Jade) and Jordan; Brian (Janice) Schreier, their sons, Andrew, Joey, and Nolan; Dawn (Joe) DuCharme, their son, Noah; and Jody (Doug) Doebbert, their son, Brandon; great-grandson, Declan Forshee; sister, Patricia Kaufmann; brothers-in-law, Jim Schiller, Norbert and Lambert Schreier; sisters-in-law, Lisa Williams, and Rita (Lowell) Verkler; many nieces, nephews, and extended relatives.
