Jean Ann Koranda, 70, died Sunday, July 30, 2025, in Rice Lake, WI after a hard fought battle with cancer. She was born on March 30, 1955, in Tomah, WI to Albert and Rose Mary (Hart) Koranda. She graduated from Tomah High School in 1973 and then attended CVTV in Eau Claire, WI where she earned a degree in accounting. To know Jean was to know her kind and generous heart. Jean will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by 4 children and their spouses, 8 grandchildren, a sister, 3 brothers, godchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.
There will be a visitation at Appleyard’s Home for Funerals in Rice Lake on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, from 4- 7 pm with a Celebration of Life service after 7pm. Burial will follow on Wednesday, August 6th at 3pm at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Tomah, WI. All friends and family are invited to join in a meal after the burial at the KC Hall in Tomah.
