Harold Keith Fowler, age 90, of Warrens, WI passed away on Monday, June 2, 2025, at 9:10 p.m. at Gundersen Lutheran Hospital in Lacrosse, WI. He was born May 6, 1935, in Mather County at home, to Edith Josie (Griffin) and Clayton Allison Fowler, the youngest of 3 sons. He was united in marriage to June Rae Schubert on December 4, 1953.
Harold served in the United States Army during the Korean War in active service from December 7, 1953, and was then honorably discharged. He was discharged from the Active Reserves.
He graduated from Tractor Scraper School specializing in heavy equipment and served in France making air strips for the Air Force. Upon completing his military service obligation, he worked for Empire Level, Maple Grove Dairy and the Veterans Hospital in the psychiatric ward serving fellow military service members, with part time jobs as bartender and bar bouncer, and cranberry marsh worker.
Harold joined Tomah Lodge #132 and was initiated May 26, 1966, passed August 4, 1966, and raised September 22, 1966. The Masons were a big part of his life, and he was very proud to be a Mason. He supported the American Legion-Scottish Rite of Post #201, Valley of Eau Claire, Zor Shriners of Madison, Tomah Lodge #132, F & AM, Mecca Shrine Club, and Lacrosse York Rite Bodies.
Harold was an avid hunter and supplied his family with a multitude of deer and other game.
He is survived by his wife, June; children, Cindy (Barth) Robinette, Susan (Michael) Abbott, Michael (Sheila) Fowler, and Mark Fowler; grandchildren, Summer Minney, Brittany (Jack) Abbott, Ciji (Jon) Parker, Isaac (Miranda) Robinette, Jessica Abbott, Michael (Jamie) Abbott, Tanner Abbott, James Fowler, Misti (Josh) Johnson; great grandchildren, Zara, Destini, Leanna, Danae, Caden, Ryder, Rowan, Ryland, Lydia, Kaylee, Braelyn and Brylee; great-great grandchildren, Remington and Eleanor.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one granddaughter, baby Fowler; 2 brothers, Virgil (Bertha) and Donald (Audrey) (Alice).
