On Oct. 31, little ghosts, ghouls and goblins will take to the streets across Monroe County in search of sweet treats as they go trick-or-treating around Monroe County for Halloween.
Officials remind residents handing out candy to leave porch lights on to signal they’re participating in trick-or-treating. Below is a list of trick-or-treating hours and celebrations happening across Monroe County:
Sparta
- Business Trick-or-Treat: 3:30–5:50 p.m. Oct. 31. Participating locations include 120 N. Water St., Muller Square, Water Street Bridge, Creekside Commons and other downtown businesses.
- Citywide Trick-or-Treat: 4–7 p.m. Oct. 31.
- Trunk or Treat: 4–6 p.m. Oct. 31 at Faith Evangelical Free Church, 6644 State Highway 16.
Tomah
- Citywide Trick-or-Treat: 4–7 p.m. Oct. 31.
- TACU Trick-or-Treat: 9 a.m.–5 p.m. Oct. 31 at TACU Credit Union, 940 N. Superior Ave.
- Tomah Nursing and Rehab: 4–6 p.m. Oct. 31, 1505 Butts Ave.
- Tomah Area Annual Community Halloween Party: 4:30–6:30 p.m. Oct. 31 at Tomah Recreation Park in the Monroe County Fairgrounds Gold Building. Games, prizes and a costume contest for all ages start at 5:15 p.m. Admission is free.
Cashton
- Village trick-or-treating is from 4–7 p.m. Oct. 31.
Kendall
- Villagewide trick-or-treating is from 4–7 p.m. Oct. 31.
Norwalk
- Villagewide trick-or-treating is from 4–6 p.m. Oct. 31.
- Lions Halloween Party: 6 p.m. Oct. 31 at Village Hall, 208 S. Church St.
Warrens
- Villagewide trick-or-treating is from 4–7 p.m. Oct. 31.
Oakdale
- Trick-or-treating is from 4–7 p.m. Oct. 31.
Wilton
- Villagewide trick-or-treating is from 4–7 p.m. Oct. 31.
- Library Halloween Party: 6:30 p.m. Oct. 31 at the Wilton Community Center, 400 E St.
