Gerald “Jerry” J. Infalt, 76, of Tomah and formerly of Warrens, Menomonee Falls, and Milwaukee, passed away Sunday, April 20th, 2025 at his home with his wife by his side. He was born July 13, 1948 to Clarence and Sylvia Infalt in Hartford. He was a member of the Menomonee Falls High School Graduating Class of 1969. After his graduation Jerry was drafted into the U.S. Army. He was a Vietnam Veteran and proud of his service. On September 23, 1970, while home on leave he was united to the love of his life Candice “Candy” Kane. They lived in Menomonee Falls until 2005. When they moved to the home of their dreams in Warrens. Jerry worked for the U.S Postal service for 35 years before his retirement in 2004. The 1st thing to know about Jerry is that he was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and brother. If you didn’t find him at home watching sports, he was out fishing, biking, or kayaking. He loved the outdoors. He loved taking vacations out west and in the Wisconsin Northwoods, especially the Eagle River area. He shared so many vacations with family, those special times will never be forgotten. His sense of humor was contagious, and his family will always remember that about Jerry. He was a kid at heart, and took his younger brothers to play ball, or his sons to a playground or a ballgame. One of his favorite quotes was “Life is Good” and Jerry lived a good life. He will be missed by all that knew and loved him.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Candy of Tomah, his sons, Clayton (Tammy) and Erik (fiancé Wanda Habelman) a granddaughter Cassidy Meyers, his brothers Pete (Pat) of Tomah, Gary (Sherrie) of Hackett, AR, Robert of Milwaukee, William (Belinda) of Brookfield, Dan (Carol) of Rome, a sister Karen Infalt of Milwaukee, a brother-in-law, Brian (Wanda) Kane of Le Sueur, MN, nieces, nephews, and many other cherished relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, Ray and Michael, 2 sisters Kathy and Marie, and his father-in-law and mother-in-law Ed and Ernestine Kane.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2025, 1:00 PM at the Sonnenburg Family Funeral Home, 801 E. Monowau Street, Tomah. Pastor Shane Hayes will officiate. Burial will be in Warren Mills Cemetery with military honors by the Grassman-Sowle-Larsen-Senz American Legion Post #201.
