TOMAH - Fern E. Kennedy, age 95, of Tomah, Wisconsin, passed away on Monday, January 17, 2022, at the Rolling Hills Rehabilitation Center in Sparta, Wisconsin. She was born May 28, 1926, to Elmer and Lillie (Schroeder) Damerow.  From a very young age, Fern was a class act.  She entered the 1st grade at age 4 and would graduate from high school at age 15.  Fern was united in marriage to Kenneth Kennedy on May 28, 1950, at the First United Methodist Church in Tomah where they would remain faithful members. Together, they owned and operated Humbird Cheese in Tomah and Market Square Cheese in Lake Delton.

   She loved her Florida home-from the beach to the seashells, but would always remain a true Wisconsinite.  Fern enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her family.

   She is survived by her children, Keith Kennedy, Colleen Isensee, and Diane Bever; grandchildren, Erika Kennedy, Kathryn (Ryan) Beaudin, and Ashley Kennedy, Jeremy Isensee, Alysa Fike, Kraig Isensee, and Carlee Isensee, and Josh (Krysta) Bever; great grandchildren, Jaren Isensee, Nathaniel Isensee, Jacoby Isensee, Jeremih Isensee, Aaliyah Isensee, Emberly Fike, and Caden Fike and Jackson Bever.

   She was preceded in death by her husband, Ken; grandson, Kraig Isensee; son-in-law, Harry Isensee; and daughter-in-law, Tina Kennedy

   Funeral Services will be held on Friday, January 21, 2022, 1:00 p.m. at the Torkelson Funeral Home in Tomah.   Pastor Krysta Deede will officiate. Burial will be held in the Mount Vernon Cemetery.
