With heavy hearts we would like to announce that Douglas Brabant, “Little Stinker,” passed away February 9, 2025, due to heart failure.
Doug was a man of many trades, there isn’t anything he couldn’t do or wouldn’t try to do. He loved nothing more than working side by side, for 57 years, with his wife Peggy in his Little Stinker Pump Truck. Doug truly enjoyed striking up a conversation with anyone who would listen.
Doug was a proud Husband, Father, Grampa, Bumpa, and Great Grampa. He raised 2 stepsons, of which he considered his very own boys, George “Butch” and Alan Hafele.
Doug is survived by his beloved wife, Peggy; daughter Theresa (Dan) Johnson; his sons George “Butch” (Melodie) Hafele, and Alan (Brenda) Hafele; his grandchildren Jessie (Richie) Samora, Katherine (Travis) Dolcey and Corey (Shelby) Johnson; his great grandchildren, Hunter Jerome, Chasity Lasko, Hadley and Lincoln Johnson; brother, Chuck Brabant; brothers-in-law, Doug Isensee and Ron Rooker; along with Peggy’s Fur Babies, Stinker, Tuffy, Friskie, Taffy and Sammy.
