SPARTA - Donna M. Erickson, 82, of Sparta passed away on Monday, June 23, 2025 at Morrow Home, Sparta. She was born on March 15, 1943 to Bernard and Catherine (Steidl) Steinhoff, in Sparta. She grew up in Sparta, and graduated from Sparta High School.
Donna married Jerry Erickson on August 22, 1970 at St. Pat’s Catholic Church in Sparta. Together, they raised 5 children.
Donna worked office jobs throughout her life; the majority of which was for St. Patrick’s School. She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, gambling (slots), and watching WI sports. She was an avid fan of the Packers, Brewers, and Badgers.
Donna is survived by her husband, Jerry; children, Chris, Jim (Carin), Katie, Carrie, and Jenna; grandchildren, Lucas, Peyton, and Logan; and siblings, Robert, John (Vicki), Michael, Linda, Jerry, Jeff (Jeanne), Barb (Leo), and John (Char); sisters-in-law, Diane (Dave), Diane, Norma, Linda (Paul), and Laurie; and brother-in-law, Gene.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bernard and Catherine; sisters, Carol, Nancy, and Pat; brothers, Daniel, Thomas, Pete, and Dennis; sisters-in-law, Lynn, and Mary Ann; mother and father-in-law, Mae and Clayton; sister-in-law, Judy; and brother-in-law, Larry.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, July 8, 2025 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church with Father Eric Berns officiating. Burial will be at St. Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery with a luncheon following in the church basement.
A visitation will be held from 9:00 A.M.-11:00 A.M. on Tuesday at the church. Online condolences may be offered at www.schanhoferfh.com.
