Donna I. Rupp, age 95, of Tomah, Wisconsin, passed away Thursday, June 25, 2026, at Touch of Home in Tomah. She was born September 14, 1930 to John and Ella (Gebhardt) Bartels on the farm in the township of Tomah.
On January 29, 1955, Donna married Charles Rupp and they lived in Tomah all of their married life. She spent her working years with the telephone company. In their spare time, Donna and Chuck enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, gardening and working on their hobby farm North of Tomah until moving into the city in 1998.
She is survived by her brother, Garland Bartels, many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Ella, her husband Chuck, her sisters, Linette (Ken) Hatfield, Sharon Bourbeau, and Elda (Bernard) Hubert infant sister, Cheryl Sue; great great nephew, Kevin Greeno; half-sister, Arlene Jensen and sister-in-law, Lois Bartels.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, June 30, 2026, 11:00 a.m. at the Torkelson Funeral Home in Tomah. Burial will follow in the Mount Vernon Cemetery, Tomah, Wisconsin.
