Deborah (Richardson) Hurley, age 67, was called to Heaven on January 7th, 2026. She was a woman of deep faith, boundless love, and genuine compassion. She lived her life with energy, empathy, and a servant’s heart, always placing the needs of others ahead of her own.

She loved spending time with her family, volunteering through her church, and being on the water. Some of her greatest joys were the quiet moments—watching the sunrise and sunset each day, reflecting her deep appreciation for God’s creation and the beauty of everyday life.

Deb is survived by her devoted husband of 45 years, Pat Hurley; her loving children, Niki (Joe) Jabour, Ryan (Natalie) Hurley, and stepdaughter Kim Shapiro; her cherished grandchildren, Hannah, Nora, Isla, Rhys, Samantha, and Tyler; her beloved mother, Josie Richardson; her dear sister, DeDe (Steve) Mack; and many nieces and nephews. Her family was the center of her world, and she poured her heart into each of them, offering unwavering love, encouragement, and support.

Even in passing, Deb continued to think of others. She chose to be an organ donor so that she could continue to serve and give life beyond her own.

A Celebration of Life will be held on January 30 at Kensington Community Church in Troy, Michigan.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Donate Life America, in honor of the generosity and compassion that defined her life. Additionally, consider registering as an organ donor.

Deborah’s legacy is one of faith, kindness, hard work, and selfless love. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered
