Darren R. Otto, age 64, of Tomah, Wisconsin, passed away on Monday, January 19, 2026, at the Gundersen Lutheran Hospital in La Crosse. He was born on October 16, 1961, to Eugene and Connie (Loose) Otto in Jamestown, North Dakota.
A proud veteran of Desert Storm, Darren served his country with honor in the U.S. Army. His time in the military instilled in him a sense of discipline and a commitment to excellence that he carried into every aspect of his life. Darren was a true outdoorsman in every sense of the word. Hunting and fishing were not just hobbies for Darren, but a way of connecting with the world around him.
He is survived by his children, Aleesha (DJ) Deknikker, Cassandra Otto and Heath Otto; his grandchildren, Ashtyn, Ella, Deacon, Zeke, and Tinsley; and his siblings, Bryan, Billy, Corey, and Tina.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his grandson, Brayden.
