Monroe County’s jobless numbers were down in November compared to October, according to figures released Wednesday by the state Department of Workforce Development.
The county’s November rate is 1.5% compared with 1.9% for October, and the county rates 16th in the state for the lowest numbers. Lafayette County was lowest with 1.2%, and Menominee County was the highest at 4.1%.
Numbers were down across all counties. The rates reported were not seasonally adjusted, according to the DWD.
Sixty-one of Wisconsin’s 72 counties experienced record low unemployment rates in the month of November.
