County Highway X in Town of Leon to close

County Trunk Highway X in the Town of Leon, 0.47 miles south of State Trunk Highway 27, will be closed effective Monday, May 18, 2026, to facilitate the replacement of a bridge over Cannon Valley Creek. 

Advance notice signs will be posted.  No formal detour will be established. 

Pheifer Brothers Construction Company of Neenah, Wisconsin has been awarded a $389,577.00 contract to construct the project.  The project is funded by Monroe County. 

The project is expected to be completed by August 08, 2026.
