Charlene J. Crane, age 88, formerly of Tomah, passed away peacefully on July 27, 2026, at Oak Park Place in Baraboo.
Charlene was born on June 19, 1938, to Vincent and Agnes (Kjar) Crane. She graduated from Fall River College and began her teaching career in White Bear, Minnesota, before eventually making Tomah her home. Throughout her years as an educator, she touched the lives of many students with her kindness and dedication. She also treasured the friendships she made wherever life took her.
Charlene is survived by many nieces and nephews. Char also shared a unique friendship with Bob, who will miss her dearly.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, July 30, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Oak Grove Cemetery in Tomah. The Torkelson Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Online condolences may be offered at www.torkelsonfuneralhome.com
