Classic cars, custom builds, and community spirit will take center stage during the Butterfest Car Show on Saturday, June 13, in Sparta.
Sponsored by the Monroe County Herald, the event will begin at 11 a.m. and will be held at 729 E. Montgomery St., behind the Fest Tent and in front of the Haunted House.
Car enthusiasts from throughout the region are invited to bring their vehicles and compete for a variety of awards. Organizers will present more than five trophies recognizing outstanding entries.
The entry fee is $5 per vehicle. Participants will receive a gift basket featuring items donated by local businesses, while supplies last. Each paid entry will also receive a coupon for a free toolbox decal.
In addition to the vehicle competition, attendees will have opportunities to win prizes through a 50/50 raffle and additional drawings held throughout the event.
Organizers say the show is designed to bring together car enthusiasts, local businesses, and community members as part of Sparta's annual Butterfest celebration. The event will feature a wide variety of vehicles, from restored classics and muscle cars to trucks, motorcycles, and custom builds.
The Butterfest Car Show is open to the public, and spectators are encouraged to stop by, view the vehicles, and enjoy the festivities.
