Bruce Robert Luebke age 67, of Birchwood, Wisconsin passed away on Wednesday, January 7, 2026 at Mayo Clinic Health Systems in Eau Claire surrounded by his loving family.
Bruce was born on November 11, 1958 to Arlandt and Charlotte (Thuss) Luebke in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. After graduating from High School he went on to obtain his MBA in School Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in 1981. Bruce spent over 30 years teaching and coached Track and Field, Cross Country, Football and Basketball. In his free time he loved collecting coins and sports memorabilia, watching sports and watching birds. He was an avid Wisconsin Badger. Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Brewers fan. Bruce was united in marriage to Gayle Harris on June 25, 1997.
Bruce is survived by his loving wife, Gayle; Children, Jessa (Kyle) Von Haden; Michelle (Erik) Von Haden; Olivia Luebke, Char Luebke and Arianna Luebke (SJ Palladini); 5 grandchildren, Mason, Grant, Brynn, Paige and Palmer; siblings, Lane, George (Pat), Arlene (Thomas), Mary (Walter) and mother-in-law, Barbara Furrer. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2026 at First Lutheran Church with Pastor Jonathan Cluppert officiating. Interment will take place immediately following the service at Nora Cemetery in Rice Lake. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 16, 2026 from 4 -7 PM at Kilcoyne Memorial Services and for one hour prior to the services at the church. A luncheon will be held at First Lutheran Church following the interment.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family to establish an endowment fund for a scholarship for a senior track and field athlete at the Tomah School District.
