Brian Joseph Haas, 66, of rural Cashton, WI, passed away Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at Gundersen Medical Center in La Crosse, WI. Brian was born in Iowa to William and Mary M. (Heri) Haas, on February 25, 1959.
Brian graduated from Bettendorf high school in 1977. He attended Muscatine Community College. His first marriage was to Ann Tometich together they had three daughters. They moved to Wisconsin in 1983 to a dairy farm. They later divorced. He married his little Canuck Carol Chapman on January 29, 2016.
Brian was a hardworking man who spent his working years as a truck driver. He took immense pride in his work and dedicated countless hours to it. But what he cherished most was coming home to his pride and joy - his beloved horses. His love for them was evident in the way he cared for them and the happiness they brought him.
Brian was born with a teasing spirit, and he carried that playful nature throughout his life. He had a knack for making people smile and laugh with his jokes and light-hearted humor. He had a great laugh that was contagious, and he never held back when it came to expressing his thoughts. He was genuine and open, always willing to share his perspective.
Brian is survived by his wife Carol; his daughters, Silke (Travis) Ford, Becky (David) Wacker, Ashley (Collin) Clausius, and Erin Rogers; siblings, Connie (Dave) Hunt, Sara Haas, Tobin (Tali) Haas; grandchildren, Saleen and Shelby Ford, Layna and Esden Wacker, and Emersyn Wright; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and good friends.
Brian was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Mary Haas.
A Celebration of Life for Brian will be held on Friday, June 27, 2025. The event will take place at the Torkelson Funeral Home, located at 1132 Angelo Road, Sparta. We warmly invite you to join us between 5:00 and 7:00 p.m. to share your stories and memories of Brian with his family.
