Bradley Charles Behrens, age 73, of Tomah, WI passed away on December 21, 2024. He was born August 7, 1951, the son of Corlis and Margaret (Rischette) Behrens. He graduated from Tomah High School in 1969.
He proudly served in the U.S. Army in Germany and Korea. On March 10, 1973, Brad married Lois Lincoln and they were blessed with three wonderful children: Ron, Dan, and Leslie. Brad was also a proud grandpa and great-grandpa. Bradley spent his career at Fort McCoy as a heavy equipment mechanic, 20 years in the Reserves, and retired in 2002.
In his spare time, Brad enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing cards, target practice and shooting guns, word puzzles, wildlife watching, meat raffles, football boards, pull tabs and having a cold one in his garage. Brad also loved to watch old T.V. shows such as The Three Stooges, Svengoolie, Twilight Zone and mostly Saturday morning cartoons! In his younger years, Brad would golf, bowl and play pool.
Bradley was a great man with a sharp wit! He always had profound words or a humorous comment for everyone! His one-liners and raised eye brow were a thing of perfection. Bradley will be missed dearly.
Brad is survived by his wife Lois, children Ron (Vicki), Dan and Leslie, grandchildren Kain (Christeva), Kolten, Alexis, Olivia, Isabella, Emily (Jared), Adam (Shelby) and great-grandkids Owen, Charlotte and Scarlett, siblings Carmen (Jim) Lennartson, Lois (Mike) Gilbert, Andy (Kathie) Behrens, along with nieces, nephews, aunt and cousins who will all greatly miss him!
He was predeceased by his parents Corly and Muggs, many aunts, uncles, cousins and his beloved cats Minnow and Martina.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2025 at Torkelson’s Funeral Home in Tomah Wi. Services from 10am-11am with a military service and burial to follow at Mount Vernon Cemetery. W
e trust that Brad is in his Heavenly home with loved ones, telling jokes and more than likely fishing! May he rest in peace.
