TOMAH - Barbara B. Buehner, 74 of Tomah passed away on Thursday, January 18, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on September 30, 1949, in Kalamazoo, Michigan to Richard and Bonnie (Betz) Kingsbury. Barb was a member of the Portage Northern High School High School 1967. After graduation, Barb attended Maranatha Baptist College obtaining a Bachelor of Arts and Education. On February 4, 1972, Barbara was united in marriage to Fredrick Buehner in Portage, Michigan.
As a wife, mother and grandmother, Barb loved being surrounded by family. Spending time with her grandchildren brought a tremendous amount of joy to her life and giving out grandma hugs was her specialty. She was a faithful and devoted member of the Tomah Baptist Church. She will be remembered for her passionate and loving spirit.
She is survived by her husband, Fred of Tomah, children, Nathan (Peggy) Buehner of Tomah, Rachel (David) Menke of Muskego, Paul (Katherine) of Tomah, Joel (CeCe) of Oshkosh and Jonathan of Tomah, grandchildren, Gary, Dustin, Abigail, Micah, Jordan, Andrew, Daniel, Euphemia, Jason, Adam, Ian, Joel, Charlotte Grace, and Elliott, a great grandson, Matthew, siblings, Pastor Paul (Diane) Kingsbury, Marsha (Doug) Wagner and Richard Kingsbury, and a brother-in-law, Bill (Shari) Buehner. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and a grandson, Aleksander.
A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, 11:00 AM at the Tomah Baptist Church, 1701 Hollister Ave., Tomah. Pastor Aaron Smith, Pastor Donald Root and Pastor Paul Kingsbury are officiating. Burial will be in Mount Vernon Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited for a time for visitation on Tuesday at the church from 9:30 AM until the time of the service.
