Audrey JoAnn (Biever) Alderman-Haun, age 84, passed away peacefully in her own home surrounded by her friends and loved ones on Wednesday, April 8, 2026. She was born on September 11, 1941, at home to Andrew (Sam) and Elizabeth (Betty) (Schreier) Biever.

Audrey attended Cashton grade school and high school and graduated in 1959.

Audrey worked for American Lace Paper in Milwaukee from 1959-1960. After leaving American Lace Paper she then worked for Briggs and Stratton from 1961-1963. She also drove school bus in Milwaukee from 1963-1964.  In April of 1964 she moved back home to attend cosmetology school in La Crosse.

She married Darrel R. Alderman on August 26, 1966, in Independence Missouri where Darrel was stationed in the army.  Together they had 3 children: Todd, Tracy and Tanya.

In September of 1966 they moved to Janesville, Wisconsin where Darrel resumed his employment with General Motors. Darrel died in May 2009 from mesothelioma. They were happily married for 42 years.

In the early winter of 2009 Audrey again met Jerry Haun and they were married on November 6, 2010. Jerry died unexpectedly in March 2021. They were happily married for 10 years.

Audrey is survived by her beloved children and grandchildren, Todd and Karen (Weiler) Alderman of Onalaska with their children Danica, Cameron and McKenna, Tracy Alderman of Janesville with his children Amber and Hunter, and Tanya Alderman of Plover with her kids Hailie and Mason.

Audrey is preceded in death by her grandparents Matt (Katherine) Biever, George (Agatha) Schreier, parents Andrew (Sam) and Elizabeth (Betty) Biever, husbands Darrel Alderman and Jerry Haun, Brother-in-law Gary Knefelkamp, and mother-in-law Leota Alderman-Ascher.

Audrey enjoyed reading and was an avid reader. She collected many books over the years. She also liked to put puzzles together, spend time with family and friends. She was on a bowling league in Janesville and was the secretary for 10 years. She also loved to travel and as a family, they visited 15 different states.

At the request of Audrey, there will be a private celebration.
