19-year-old male suspect was booked for Possession of Child Pornography.

On Tuesday, September 1st, 2026, after an investigation into a tip received from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, the Sparta Police Department executed a search warrant in the 1100 block of Sherri Dr.

During the execution of the search warrant, several items of child sexual abuse material were located.

The 19-year-old male suspect was booked into the Monroe County Jail for offenses related to Possession of Child Pornography. The suspect remains in custody until his initial appearance.

The Sparta Police Department was assisted by the Wisconsin Division of Criminal Investigation, the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children and the Monroe County Communications Center.
