Tomah, Warrens, Oakdale Lions join for Stuff the Bus

The school year is right around the corner for students.

That means some families needing assistance to access school supplies. Once again combined efforts of the Tomah, Warrens and Oakdale Lions clubs will be visible at Tomah Walmart for Stuff the Bus.

On Saturday, Aug. 21 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., members from each club will be at Tomah Walmart collecting school supply donations and cash donations to purchase school supplies.

The need has not deviated from past years and the list of supplies is the same as past years.

The Tomah School District will provide the bus that will be in the parking lot with the goal of filling its seats with school supplies. They will then be transported to school building and be distributed per need determined by respective building principals in the school district.

Shout out to any Lions from the three respective clubs, shifts are from 9. to 11 a.m and 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. if interested in volunteering services.
