Tomah girls fall to Wisconsin Rapids for fourth straight loss

The Tomah girls’ basketball team suffered a 65-35 loss against Wisconsin Rapids (1-3) Friday, December 3 in Wisconsin Rapids. This marked the fourth loss in a row for the Timberwolves.

The Timberwolves (1-4) were led by Lauren North, who finished with 6 points and 18 rebounds on the day. North tallied 11 turnovers in this game.

Katelyn Krause finished up with 6 points and 7 rebounds in this game. Aubrey King also contributed with 6 points.

Tomah committed a total of 34 turnovers on the day and shot only 12 of 23 from the line. The team also struggled from the field, going 11 for 49.

The Timberwolves will be on the road for their MVC opener Tuesday, December 7 against Aquinas (4-1) at 7:15 p.m. in La Crosse.

Following that game, Tomah will have three more games before the Christmas break.

The Timberwolves will face La Crosse Central at home Tuesday, December 14 and then hit the road to take on Holmen Friday, December 17 and West Salem Tuesday, December 21.
