Sleep in Heavenly Peace receives donation Build-date approaching

Posted

Recently, Cardinal IG of Tomah, located at 1620 Townline road, donated $580 to Sleep In Heavenly Peace (SHP). SHP is a 501c non-profit organization. They are volunteers across the nation and into Canada that are dedicated to building, assembling and delivering top-notch bunk beds to children and families in need. The collection by Cardinal IG in Tomah is a yearly project that is done by the employees. The employees then choose a local charity and donate the funds to them.

Sleep In Heavenly Peace is planning a Build Day in late February, for children who sleep on floors or in chairs. There are so many ways you can help. Super important are always the donations. Lumber needs to be purchased to build the beds, and this makes the donation a crucial part of the process; the one that gets the wheels rolling. Other ways to contribute to the heart-warming and necessary action, is to volunteer, or be a sponsor. To see what you may be able to help out with, please contact Gwen Nelson, at 608 372-4439, for more information. All funds collected will be kept for Monroe County and surrounding areas.
