On December 21, 1985, he was united in marriage to Annamarie Drowatzky on the Nelson Farm. Together they lived on a small homestead just outside of Tomah, where they raised their family.  Most important to Scott was spending time with his family and friends.  Sharing life experiences while turkey hunting, deer hunting, and fishing, he loved playing softball with them, going to their sporting events, and taking family camping trips out to McMullen Park. He loved spending time with his family around a campfire. He also enjoyed duck hunting, and watching the bald eagles, and taking drives to go shining deer.  He worked at Toro as a Welder for 34 years before his retirement in 2016. In his retirement he drove vehicles for Rudig-Jensen. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed mentoring kids through the Tomah High Trap Team.  He shot in trap leagues in Camp Douglas, Wilton, the Town of Knapp, and Wyeville where he served as a past President.  He was an enthusiastic Green Bay Packers fan and enjoyed watching NASCAR. He had many friends and spent countless hours in the garage visiting and playing pool.  He was a devoted husband and a loving father, grandfather, son, and brother.  Scott had a loving heart and will always be remembered for telling you “Love you Man.”
