SPARTA - Samantha E. (Roberts) Sherry, 26, of Sparta, passed away on Wednesday, October 12, 2022. She was born on April 5, 1996 to Michael Roberts and Kristine Leis, in Portsmouth, VA.
Samantha grew up in Sparta, and graduated from Sparta High School in 2014. She worked at Morrow Home in Sparta, then Spring Brook Assisted Living in Onalaska. She attended Dental School in Appleton, then worked at Scenic Bluffs and Sparta Dental. She most recently had started working at Gundersen in La Crosse.
Samantha enjoyed listening to country music, traveling, taking trips with her Grandma, hunting, and working with farm animals. She especially loved her chickens and her dogs.
Samantha is survived by her parents, Michael (Tana) Roberts of Two Rivers, WI and Kristine (Richard) Neary of Sparta; grandparents, Ken and Arbutus Roberts of Sparta, and Janie Leis of Sparta; siblings, Angela (Storm) Treu of Ft. Riley, KS, Kage Bauer of Kenosha, WI, Karin Granier of Sparta, Brianna Roberts of Peachland, NC, Ethan McClurg of Tomah, Aaron Ragsdale of Iwakuni, Japan, Maesen Roberts of Two Rivers, Mathew Neary of Sparta, and Jeremy Roberts of Two Rivers; niece, Eliza Treu; nephews, Raiden and Beau Treu; special friend, Kent Hamilton of Sparta; as well as many other relatives, friends, aunts, and uncles.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Martin Leis Jr; and her great-grandparents.
Samantha Eileen Roberts had a love of getting the most out every day. Her goal was always to make everyone smile. She loved others’ smiles so much that she chose a career in the Dental field. Samantha had a large extended family and loved creating memories with her siblings, friends and family. Samantha was the happiest when she was surrounded by others. Her smile and laugh were infectious; bringing joy to all around her.
A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, October 18, 2022 at Lanham-Schanhofer Funeral Home and Cremation, Sparta, with Reverend Randy Williamson officiating. Burial will be in Rockland Cemetery, Rockland.
