TOMAH - Sally L. Waugh, age 81, of Tomah, Wisconsin passed away on Wednesday, August 24, 2022, at the Greenfield House in the care of her daughter.  She was born April 26, 1941, to Leonard Lee and Minnie Virginia (Legg) Neff in Paris, Virginia.  Sally met the love her life in Alexandria, Virginia – while Roger was in the Army.  They were united in marriage on June 5, 1961.  After Roger retired from the Army, Sally moved with her family to Roger’s hometown of Tomah.  While living In Tomah, Roger and Sally worked together at their Ceramic Store. Sally also worked at Hardees for many years and with her daughter at the Greenfield House in Tomah.

A sports enthusiast, Sally was always rooting for her favorite teams; from golf to football and everything in between! Whenever you would see Sally, she was always dressed to the nines; her love of jewelry, clothing and shoes was always on trend!  She loved getting pampered getting her hair and nails done and visiting with her girlfriends at the salon.

Family was Sally’s world.  She had a natural born gift to care for not only her family, but also her friends. Sally was there when you needed an ear to listen, a word to comfort, or a spunky comment to make.  One of her greatest self-proclaimed accomplishments was being Elvis Presley’s greatest fan!  A trip to Nashville and Graceland in 2018 with her niece, Pam and sister, Bonnie, was a highlight for Sally.

Sally’s kind heart and sassy personality will be tremendously missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her children, Michael (Laura) Waugh and Melissa (Rick) Sharp; grandchildren, Alexandra Waugh, Mickensie (Mike) Wetzel, Zachary Waugh, Aaron Raese and Hannah Waugh; and a great grandson, Jay Jorstad.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger; Siblings: Eleanor Yowell, Janice Yowell, Ira Daniel Neff, Bonnie Cardwell, Shelby Neff and Joseph Neff.

Memorial Services will be held on Monday, August 29, 2022, 11:00 a.m. at the Torkelson Funeral Home in Tomah.  Pastor Krysta Deede will officiate. Family and friends are invited for visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home on Monday.
