SPARTA - Richard “RJ” J. Humphrey, 65, of Sparta, died on Monday, January 3, 2022 at Mayo Clinic Health in La Crosse, WI. He was born on November 24, 1956 to Vincent and Faith (Innes) Humphrey in Sparta, WI.

SPARTA-Ruth E. Ebert, 94, of Sparta, was welcomed into Heaven on Sunday, April 21, 2024. At the time of her death, she was surrounded by her children at Pigeon Falls Health Care Center where she had been a beloved resident for the past 3 years. Ruth was born on April 19, 1930 in Angelo, WI to Victor Dewey and Carrie Leila (Shaw) Hughes. She grew up in Angelo and graduated from Sparta High School in 1947.
