TOMAH - Patricia Anne Teal, 87, of Tomah, died on August 3, 2022 in Edgerton, WI. On January 16, 1935, Patricia was born to Evan and Effie (Mossholder) Pierce in La Crosse, Wisconsin.

Shortly after graduating from Viroqua High School in 1952, Patricia met and married the love of her life, Allen Dean Teal, on April 29, 1955, in Dubuque, Iowa. Allen preceded her in death on October 11, 2004. With Allen being in the service, they spent their first years of marriage moving from city to city. This led Patricia to holding several various jobs, such as a shoe factory employee in Cedarburg, an insurance company secretary, a Dictaphone transcriber, and Deaconess at the First Baptist Church in Richland Center. During her free time, Patricia loved spending time with family and friends, going on walks, reading her favorite books, playing bingo, and traveling with Dean. The couple enjoyed taking trips to Florida, Oregon, and would often make time to stop at casinos to play a “few” nickels. Patricia was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Patricia is survived by her two daughters: Jackie (Jeffrey) Kas of Janesville and Deann (Jeffrey) Frawley of La Crosse; 4 granddaughters: Ashley (Casey) Vanden Heuvel of Franklin, Rachel Kas of Janesville, Jamie (Alec) Fitzsimmons of Onalaska, Lauren (Alex) Jaromin of West Salem;  great-grandchildren: Grant, Thomas, and Nora Vanden Heuvel, Mia Jaromin, and Ella Fitzsimmons; 2 siblings: Monty (Sheryl) Olson of Sparta and Rita Luhman of Viola; and siblings-in-law: Robert (Verna) Teal of Tomah, Kay Teal of Iowa, and Daniel (Cindy) Teal of Janesville. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Patricia is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Allen Dean; siblings: Karen Lawrence, Jeanie Strait, Bruce Johnson, and Valerie Tunks; Mother and Father-in-law Ruth and Earl Teal; Brother-in-law Mel Teal; and a nephew Larry Teal.
