Nancy Peardot passed away on Thursday, May 18th in her home in Tomah, WI, sleeping next to the love of her life of 62 years. She was a light in many lives and enjoyed life to the fullest. Nancy was born in Medford, WI to Andy and Sylvia Barta and attended school at Tomah High School where she met her husband. They moved to Milwaukee, WI together where she worked as an executive assistant at City Hall, and they raised 4 children together who they love dearly. Nancy enjoyed bingo, going to rummage sales, and most of all spending time with her family. She and Don also travelled to every state and numerous countries. Nancy has had an amazing life filled with love and happiness.
She is survived by her husband Don Peardot, a sister Rita Reinke, her 4 children Lynn (Dave) Kulasiewicz, Brian (Kathleen) Peardot, Scott (Lorrie) Peardot, Dawn(Scott) Stapleton, as well as 11 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, 2 sisters and 2 brothers.
A Prayer Service will be held on Thursday, May 25, 2023, 12:00 Noon at the Sonnenburg Family Funeral Home, 801 E. Monowau Street, Tomah. Burial will be at a later date in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited for a time of visitation on Thursday at the funeral home from 10:00 AM until the time of the service.
A Celebration of Life will be held following the prayer service at Backwater Bar & Grill, 832 E. Tomah Road, Wyeville.
