   TOMAH - Michael David Finnigan, 52, of Tomah, passed away on September 5, 2021. He passed away at Serenity House in Tomah, with his loved ones close by. He had many visitors the day he passed; we thank each and every person who cared so much about our Finny.

   Michael was the son of Michael L. and Dawn Finnigan of Oakdale, WI. He was born on November 14, 1968.

   Michael was a cable installer, a drywall hanger, an amazing cook, and a child care provider. He loved playing golf, playing softball, having fires in the fire pit, jamming out to music and spending time with friends and family, especially his daughters. He was so much fun to be around, and he was truly one of a kind and unforgettable.

   Michael is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Oscar and Laura Rattle, paternal grandparents Virgil & Almeda (Daisy) Finnigan and uncles; Virgil Finnigan, Bill Finnigan, Bob Finnigan, Jeff Finnigan and his Aunt Kathy Finnigan. Survivors include his mother and father; his sister; Christine Finnigan; Nephew; Quinn Finnigan Grovesteen, step-son; Reece Kohn, daughters; Kelsie Finnigan, Connor Finnigan and Autumn (Franklin) Phillips, as well as his grandchildren; Ezra, Elias, Noah, Asher and his step-granddaughter Bailey.

   A Celebration of Michael’s Life will be held September 18, 2021, from 12:00p.m. to 6:00p.m., at the shelter in the Oakdale Community Park in Oakdale, WI.
