TOMAH - Mary R. Rouse, age 83, of Tomah, WI, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, July 20, 2022. She was born December 19, 1938 to Paul and Bessie (Delaney) Jensen. She was united in marriage to George C. Rouse Jr. May 18, 1962 in Caledonia, Minnesota. He preceded her in death in 2014. Mary worked for over 30 years at the Tomah VA in housekeeping, a job she was very proud of. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her children, Melody (Scott) Ryan of Goodhue, MN, Kevin Rouse of Tomah, Paul (Rhonda) Rouse of Tomah, Julie Rouse of Tomah, and Nicole Rouse of Tomah; sister, Joan Organ; 14 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Bessie; husband, George; and brothers, Paul “Pete”, Daniel “Duane”, John, and Joseph Jensen.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. (Noon) at the Lighthouse Assembly of God Church in Tomah. Pastor Frank Ross will officiate.
Family and friends are invited for visitation on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the church. Burial will follow in the Dannavang Cemetery, Warrens.
