SPARTA - Linda D. Vian, 69, of Sparta, died suddenly from a stroke on Sunday, September 12, 2021, at Mayo Clinic Rochester, MN.

A celebration of Linda’s life will be held in October. Online condolences may be offered by www.schanhoferfh.com. The Lanham-Schanhofer Funeral Home and Cremation, Sparta, is assisting the family with arrangements.

SPARTA-Ruth E. Ebert, 94, of Sparta, was welcomed into Heaven on Sunday, April 21, 2024. At the time of her death, she was surrounded by her children at Pigeon Falls Health Care Center where she had been a beloved resident for the past 3 years. Ruth was born on April 19, 1930 in Angelo, WI to Victor Dewey and Carrie Leila (Shaw) Hughes. She grew up in Angelo and graduated from Sparta High School in 1947.
